It is Saturday afternoon. Budi is at home with his sister, Siti. Budi is ten years old, and Siti is eight. Budi loves football. Siti likes drawing and playing with her cat.

Budi takes his ball and goes to the field near the village. Three friends are there. They are happy to see him. Soon, the boys start the game. Budi kicks the ball to his friend Andi. Andi kicks it back. The boys run and laugh. They have a lot of fun.

Then Siti comes to the field. She watches the game. She wants to play with the boys, too. But Budi does not want her to play. He thinks football is only for boys. Siti is sad, but she does not go home.

Andi thinks Siti can play with them. He tells Budi that girls can play football, too. Budi thinks about this and lets Siti join his team.

The game starts again. Siti runs to the ball and kicks it. The ball goes past Andi and into the goal! The boys are happy and clap their hands.

After the game, Budi and Siti walk home together. Budi is happy that his sister plays with them. Siti has a great day, too.

    Remember how babies
    learn a language:

Babies learn a language by listening.
They use their ears to hear sounds.
    Their brain remembers these sounds.
Babies connect sounds with people and things.
    They listen to their parents.
Then they copy the sounds they hear. They imitate words.
    Slowly, babies learn to speak.

    So,
    LISTEN, LISTEN, LISTEN, LISTEN………………
