Lara and Mia are twins. They are ten years old. It is summer, and they are on holiday with their parents. They stay in a hotel at the seaside. From the balcony, they can see the blue sea, the sandy beach, and the swimming pool.
After breakfast, Lara and Mia put on their swimsuits. They take towels, sun cream, and a ball. The hotel pool is very big and clean. Many children are already playing there. The twins jump into the water. It is cool and feels nice on the hot day.
First, they play in the shallow part of the pool. They throw the ball and splash each other. Then they swim to the deeper part. Mia likes to dive under the water and blow air out of her mouth. This makes bubbles – small round balls of air that go up to the top of the water. Lara likes to float on her back and watch the clouds.
