Hello, my name is Lara. I am ten years old and I go to a primary school in Austria. In German, we call it “Volksschule.” My day starts early. At seven o’clock I get up. I wash my face and brush my teeth. Then I eat breakfast with my mum. I like bread with jam and hot chocolate.
At half past seven I put on my jacket and walk to school. On the way I meet my friends. We laugh and talk about games. At school, our teacher waits for us. She is very kind and helps us a lot. We have many subjects: maths, English, music, sports and science. Learning is fun because we also play games.
At twelve o’clock school is finished. I walk home. My mum and dad are usually still at work. I eat lunch and then I do my homework. After that I play on the PlayStation or read a book. Sometimes I draw pictures or play outside.
In the evening we eat dinner together. Then I brush my teeth again and put on my pyjamas. At eight o’clock I go to bed. I close my eyes and dream sweet dreams.
