my crazy St. Patrick’s Day in Southeast Asia

Last year, I celebrated St. Patrick’s Day in Southeast Asia. We celebrated it on March 17. It was a new and fun experience for me.

St. Patrick’s Day came from Ireland. It was about Saint Patrick. He lived a long time ago. He helped people and taught them about religion. People liked him very much. After he died, people celebrated his life every year on March 17.

I was in Bangkok at that time. The weather was very hot, but the city was busy and exciting. Many people went outside in the evening. Some bars and restaurants played Irish music and had special drinks.

I went out with my friends. We wore green shirts and hats. We walked in the street and saw many happy people. There was a small parade. People danced and smiled. Some people took photos together.

We sat in a small restaurant and ate food. We listened to music and talked. I felt relaxed and happy. It was interesting to celebrate this Irish holiday far from Ireland.

That day was special. I learned new things and enjoyed time with my friends. It was a great memory for me.
