🥳👄Your Personal New Year Reset in Hospitality, part 2/7 (A2)🥳👄

  • Look Back: Your Year at Work (Tourism & Hospitality)

Looking back at my year in tourism and hospitality helps me understand myself better. I do not only think about how the business does. I ask about what I do. I work with guests, help with marketing, and sometimes lead others. I help most when I answer guest questions, solve problems, and give useful tips. Sometimes I feel too tired or bored. I make three lists: things I do well, things I do not do, and things that make me very tired. This helps me see my strengths and my challenges.

I also think about how I work with guests. Guests are happy with me when I talk clearly, solve problems, give local tips, and am kind and calm. Many guests thank me for these things again and again. This shows my natural strengths in hospitality and what makes me a good helper for guests.

I look at my skills and gaps honestly. I use some skills every day, but some situations are hard, like angry guests, talking about prices, using computers or systems, or selling extras. By thinking about these, I see what I need to learn next.

Looking back this way helps me know my strengths, my challenges, and what I want to do better this year. It is a simple way to grow and improve in my job.
