Leng Chantheany is a strong and kind woman from Siem Reap, Cambodia. She grew up during the Khmer Rouge time. Her childhood was very difficult. Her parents were separated, and her family was very poor. She wanted to go to school, but she did not have many chances. After the war, she studied little by little and finished high school.

Later, she had a good job in a hotel and restaurant, but she left her job in 2009. She started the Future of Khmer Children Organization to help poor children and families. She believed education opened the door to the future.

Her school helps more than 450 children. The students study English, math, computer, music, and dance. Teenagers learn computer skills and Auto-CAD for jobs. She also helps mothers learn sewing and languages. She gives food and supplies to families in need.
