Opening on April 1, 2025, JATI is a new private island resort by the creators of Shinta Mani Hotels. Located on Koh Russey (Bamboo Island) in southern Cambodia, JATI offers a mix of Khmer-inspired luxury and relaxed island living. It’s just 10 minutes by speedboat from Ream Beach near Sihanoukville.
The name „JATI“ means „rebirth“ in Sanskrit, and the resort aims to offer a refreshing escape with nature, wellness, and comfort. During its debut „JATI Sunrise“ period (April–September 2025), one-bedroom villas start at just US$168 per night. The resort has 82 villas, some with private pools, set along the beach or in tropical gardens.
Guests can enjoy many activities, including tennis, pickleball, mini golf, kayaking, Thai boxing, and nature trails. The Bamboo Spa and Gym will feature Khmer-style treatments, a sauna, and an ice bath from May.
JATI offers many dining options. Guests can enjoy lazy breakfasts at Arun beach café, cocktails at Banyan Lounge, and sunset dinners at the Beach Club. Le Manolis and KoKo, popular restaurants from Phnom Penh, also have locations on the island.
Families are welcome, with the Seahorse Kids Club and babysitting services. A special events centre for weddings and meetings will also open later in the year. JATI promises an unforgettable and relaxing island experience.
